Roberto Caamano
Roberts work is dynamic and colorful, reflecting his Spanish heritage. Born in New York City and raised in Tampa; after graduation form Jefferson High School, Robert returned to NY and earned a degree from the School of Visual Arts.
While traveling the US, he studied art and drawing in Los Angeles and Miami but did not seriously pursue art as a career. Instead, he found a passion for horses, and being that he weighed just 102 pounds; decided he was a perfect candidate for employment as a professional horse jockey.
After making a career of riding for a California racing stable, he retired to Tampa and is now pursuing his passion for painting full time.
