Brandon Dunlap

Brandon Dunlap is a 33 year old visual artist from Tampa Florida. The majority of his art pieces are densely layered using a variety of materials, containing elements of his drawing, painting, printmaking and photographic techniques.The artist mixes the mechanical processes of printmaking and photography with the more intuitive and handcrafted style of painting and drawing to create a unique and original style. His influences include obvious references to popular culture (movies, music, television) but also a variety of unexpected sources including renaissance painting, mythology, foreign cinema and fashion design.
